Experimenting trying to knock out some ideas for thesis. I've been thinking of doing a series based around this character and his/her adventures in a future Baltimore. I'm interested in creating a narrative that explores the societal, political, and geographical landscapes of Baltimore and the surrounding area. The structure in the background is the water treatment plant in Essex and the character is based on a ceramic figurine I found in an area thrift store.

An Obama Like Me

I started a new series maybe.

As you all don't know I am afflicted with extremely sensitive skin and severe food allergies. I did this piece initially as a kind of cathartic thing to do. Just taking highly visible public figures and making them look like me on a bad day or after eating some stealth nuts in a salad. Feels good.

Shoot, shoot, shoot em up

Photoshop files of some shootin' gallery targets. Probably will screen print these if I can but the screen printing studio at MICA is some kind of fortress. Also- this will be involved in a performance/event, probably not unlike a real shooting gallery only with a paintball gun. Stay tuned.

Here we have Mr. Stay Puft of Stay Puft Marshmallows. In 1984 Gozer the Gozerian, the ancient Sumerian demi-god took the form of Mr. Stay Puft in a ritual of destruction which took place in New York City New York.

DOCTOR SCHLOCK AND THE DISCOVERY OF THE SEMENITES

So this is a series I did last year. I got a lot of great reactions to these. Basically it's a series about how magical science is and it takes place in the future.

Title panel. Semenites is a play off the word Hitite, an ancient Anatolian civilization.

Second panel- Doctor Schlock and his team of cyber-excavators unearth an interesting artifact.

Panel 3- Doctor Schlock surveys the damage.

Panel 4- Doctor Schlock confers with his military counterpart.

Panel 5- Rigorous research and examination...

Panel 6- ...and now they're weapons.

Panel 7- Triumph of science...

Panel 8- The end.
